The Labour Court partly upheld a worker’s appeal and said CHK (T/A Masterchefs) should put her back on its list for future employment. It signed its decision on 20 May 1994. The appeal concerned the worker’s removal from future race-meeting work after stock shortages. The Court accepted that the company had to protect its interests, but found responsibility for the shortages could not be conclusively proved. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had appealed on her behalf.
