In 1991, the Labour Court increased a recommendation for a worker owed pay for four weeks’ work at a summer school in Bray. The Court signed its decision on 26 April 1991. The worker had received no payment for the four weeks in July 1990. Educational Enterprises Limited said it had not received funds from the college’s principals to pay him. The Rights Commissioner had recommended £851.90, but the worker appealed, saying that amount did not account for the distress he suffered. The Court recommended payment of £1,000.
