In 1991, the Labour Court left a £750 recommendation in place after the Irish Distributive And Administrative Trade Union appealed on behalf of a sales assistant over retrospective pay, holiday and Sunday-work claims. The Court signed its decision on 22 April 1991. The union argued that the recommendation did not account for all the claims and sought £2,503.22. Frawley & Company maintained that the worker had been correctly paid. The Court considered the parties’ submissions and found the Rights Commissioner’s recommendation reasonable.
