The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation that a worker’s claim against 747 Travel for unpaid holiday pay and payment in lieu of notice had failed. The decision was signed on 7 February 1990. The worker disputed a £161.92 cheque, which the company said covered holiday pay and notice. The Rights Commissioner found that 747 Travel had met its financial obligations, and the Labour Court found no grounds to alter that decision.
