The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation that Barrettmore Limited pay a bar manager £250 after his unfair dismissal claim. The decision was signed on 19 June 1987. The worker appealed the recommendation, which said his dismissal should stand and Barrettmore should pay £250 in full and final settlement. He argued the accommodation provided by the company was substandard and promised improvements were not made. Barrettmore was not represented at the Labour Court hearing.
