The Labour Court adjourned George Dinan’s appeal against a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation on call-out and overtime payments. The decision was signed on 3 November 2015. Dinan, a Regional Caretaker Grade V employed by Clare County Council, sought call-out payments and application of a circular on on-call provision. The Court found the issue could affect the whole Regional Caretaker Grade. The parties agreed to discuss it collectively and complete discussions within eight weeks of the hearing. The merits were not decided.
