The Labour Court rejected a worker’s appeal over a €2,000 payment sought from HSE Dublin Mid Leinster for a staff transfer, in a decision dated 2 April 2015. A Rights Commissioner had recommended the payment. The worker, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, argued he was entitled to the same payment as colleagues. The employer said the worker was not covered by the Cooperation Agreement and that the Public Service Agreement precluded the claim. The Court found he had been relocated to a community facility in Tallaght after the Public Service (Croke Park) Agreement took effect, and rejected the appeal.
