The Labour Court upheld a €12,056 compensation recommendation after the unnamed worker appealed a Rights Commissioner's unfair dismissal finding against Ballymount Hairspray Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited. The Rights Commissioner had found the complaint well founded and recommended the compensation. The worker said he had received no indication that the company was unhappy with his performance and was denied fair procedures. The company did not attend the hearing.
