The Labour Court affirmed a recommendation that a worker's complaint over sick pay and repayment of a bonus was not well founded, and disallowed his appeal against Imperial Tobacco. The decision was signed on 4 May 2012. The Court said the sick pay issue had been raised after an inordinate delay and could have been included in an earlier dispute decided in 2009. On the bonus, it found that the worker had accepted it was paid in error and agreed to repay it, so he could not reasonably claim repayment.
