The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation concerning Tesco (Ireland) Ltd’s handling of a worker’s complaints, with a proviso about who should carry out the investigation. The decision was signed on 9 August 2010. The Court said a Store Director from outside the Dublin/Wicklow region should undertake the investigation. It also said independent mediation was not appropriate or necessary at that time. The worker was represented by Mandate.
