The Labour Court upheld a recommendation to regrade a worker from Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to Clinical Nurse Manager 3, dismissing HSE West’s appeal. The decision was signed on 29 April 2010. The worker, represented by the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation, was already carrying out the higher-grade functions. The Court said she should be classified as a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 with immediate effect. HSE West had argued that the public-service promotion moratorium prevented the regrading.
