I, JACQUELINE CARROLL intend to apply for retention permission and permission for development at this site GLEN UPPPER, DRUM, CO. SLIGO. The development will consist of: (1) THE EXISTING DWELLING HOUSE AS CONSTRUCTED IN A REVISED SITING AND ORIENTATION FROM THAT PREVIOUSLY PERMITTED, FOR CONTINUED USE AS A DWELLING; AND (2) THE EXISTING ATTIC CONVERSION TO HABITABLE ACCOMMODATION, INCLUDING THE ASSOCIATED ROOFLIGHTS. PERMISSION IS ALSO SOUGHT FOR: (3) THE CHANGE OF USE AND CONVERSION OF THE EXISTING DETACHED DOMESTIC SHED TO PROVIDE THE KITCHEN/LIVING/DINING AREA AND BATHROOM OF AN INDEPENDENT LIVING UNIT ANCILLARY TO THE EXISTING DWELLING, WITH ITS BEDROOM ACCOMMODATED WITHIN THE PROPOSED LINKING EXTENSION; (4) THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-STOREY EXTENSION TO THE NORTH ELEVATION OF THE EXISTING DWELLING, COMPRISING AN EN-SUITE BATHROOM AND WALK-IN WARDROBE; (5) THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-STOREY EXTENSION LINKING THE EXISTING DWELLING TO THE ANCILLARY INDEPENDENT LIVING UNIT, INCORPORATING A BEDROOM SERVING THE ANCILLARY UNIT, TOGETHER WITH A DINING AREA, SNUG, ENTRANCE LOBBY AND NEW PRINCIPAL ENTRANCE SERVING THE EXISTING DWELLING; (6) ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING EXTERNAL OPENINGS, INCLUDING THE PERMANENT CLOSURE AND INFILLING OF THE EXISTING ENTRANCE-DOOR OPENING; AND (7) ALL ASSOCIATED SITE DEVELOPMENT, PAVING, LANDSCAPING AND ANCILLARY WORKS. The planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the planning authority during its public opening hours. A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the planning authority on payment of the prescribed fee, €20, within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application, and such submissions or observations will be considered by the planning authority in making a decision on the application. The planning authority may grant permission subject to or without conditions, or may refuse to grant permission.
