the development will consist of: the construction of an Integrated Retirement and Assisted Care Development comprising a 2 No. storey nursing home (4,710 sq m) with 95 No. bedspaces; a 2 No. storey staff accommodation building (648 sq m) comprising 12 No. units (8 No. studio units, 2 No. one bed units and 2 No. two bed units); 25 No. 1 No. storey later living / assisted living units (9 No. one bed units and 16 No. two bed units); 15 No. part 1 No. – part 2 No. storey three bed retirement homes; and 3 No. part 1 No. – part 2 No. storey three bed respite care homes. The development will also consist of: the modification and upgrade of the existing vehicular access / egress at New Road (R156); the provision of a footpath along part of the site boundary on New Road (R156) and pedestrian crossing thereat; internal roads and footpaths; 105 No. car parking spaces; a setdown area; bicycle parking; bin storage; a wastewater pumping station; solar panels; hard and soft landscaping; ancillary allotments; boundary treatments; public lighting; signage; and all other associated site and development works above and below ground.
