Full description from the council file

for development at the existing Aldi Store, Castlecarra Road and Dublin Road (N4), Attifnlay, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim, N41 D651. The development will consist of the extension of the existing single storey discount foodstore including off-licence use by 264 sq.m. The existing store was permitted under Register Reference 10/228. The gross floor area of the store will increase from 1484 sq.m. (net retail area of 990 sq.m.) to 1748 sq.m. (net retail area of 1254 sq.m.) The proposed development includes a new canopy to replace existing, a minor relocation of the pole sign to the junction of Dublin Road and Castlecarra Road, new illuminated double board poster sign towards entrance lobby (front/eastern elevation), minor amendments of the car parking layout within the site including reduction in car parking spaces from 96 to 95 and all associated landscaping and site development works on 0.86 hectare site
