Full description from the council file

The development will consist of: (i) removal of existing vehicular entrance via Seamount Road and demolition of existing two-storey dwelling and associated single storey sheds; (ii) construction of a residential scheme comprising 17 no. terraced houses (including 1 no. three-bedroom three-storey house, 3 no. three-bedroom two-storey houses & 13 no. four-bedroom three-storey houses) and 1 no. five-storey flat/blue roofed block of 16 no. apartment units (including 1 no. studio apartment, 5 no. one-bedroom apartments and 10 no. two-bedroom apartments); (iii) provision of a new vehicular entrance via Seamount Road with internal access road and 48 no. vehicular parking spaces (inclusive of 1 no. accessible space); (iv) works to Seamount Road including road widening and provision of new pedestrian footpath/crossing; and, (v) all ancillary site works, inclusive of tree removal/planting, provision of public open space and communal amenity space, general landscaping, boundary treatments, provision of bicycle and bin stores, visitor bicycle parking, ESB Substation, foul/surface water drainage and attenuation areas, necessary to facilitate the proposed development. Each house will be served by private amenity space in the form of a rear garden and 2 no. on-curtilage parking spaces. Each apartment will be served by private amenity space in the form of balconies/terraces and will have access to a shared communal amenity space and a shared vehicular parking bay.
