Full description from the council file

The development will consist of: 1)The partial demolition of the existing single-storey rear storage extension, together with the construction of a new single-storey flat-roof storage extension with 4 rooflights to the rear of the dwelling; 2)The construction of a first-floor rear extension with a depth of 2.1 metres and a total floor area of 20.6 square metres. The extension will provide an enlarged open-plan living, kitchen and dining accommodation, alongside internal reconfiguration of the existing first-floor bedroom layout; 3)Roof level alterations including the removal of sections of the existing hipped roof and replacement with a new gable roof structure. The proposal also includes the construction of two new timber-framed dormer extensions at attic level to facilitate a new playroom (31 m²) and bathroom, together with all associated site development and finishing works.
