7. The Developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Transportation Division of the Planning Authority: a) Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised details of the proposed cycle parking for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. These details shall demonstrate compliance with the Cycle Design Manual 2023, Compact Settlement Guidelines 2024, and Volume 2, Appendix 5, Section 3.0 of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028. In particular: a. A minimum of 5 no. long-term and 5 no. short-term cycle parking spaces shall be provided in accordance with Appendix 5, Table 1 of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028. b. All Sheffield-type stands shall provide a minimum centre-to-centre spacing of 0.80 m (1.00 m preferred) and the short-term cycle stands to the front shall provide a minimum clear depth of 0.60 m, in compliance with the NTA Cycle Design Manual.All long-term cycle parking shall be secure, conveniently located, sheltered, and well-lit. Where necessary to achieve compliant spacing and clearances, the applicant may reduce the overall number of stands, provided that the minimum requirement of 5 no. long-term and 5 no. short-term cycle parking spaces is retained. b) Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised plans and details of the proposed car parking and servicing arrangements for the written agreement of the Planning Authority demonstrating the following; a. Auto-track drawings demonstrating the ability of service vehicles in being able to access and turn within the site. b. Details of the demarcation of residential and pharmacy use car parking. c) A minimum of 50% of car parking spaces shall be equipped with fully functional EV charging point. The remaining car parking spaces shall be fitted with ducting for electric connection points to allow for future fit out of charging points. d) All costs incurred by Dublin City Council, including any repairs to the public road and services necessary as a result of the development, shall be at the expense of the developer. Reason: In the interests of sustainable transportation and orderly development.
