5. The following requirements of the Conservation Division shall be adhered to: c. In advance of work commencing on site, the applicant shall submit the following information for the written agreement of the CO: iv. Details of the proposed render, including the colour. The render shall be given the appearance of a lime render, which would be more appropriate within the historic setting and to the extant brickwork arch to the western end of the building, than a modern render. Reason: In order to protect the original fabric, character and integrity of the adjacent Protected Structures within the RDS complex, their setting and curtilage, including their architectural detail, fixtures and fittings and materials, and to ensure that the proposed works are carried out in accordance with best conservation practice.
