Full description from the council file
3. Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant/developer shall submit the following details to the Planning Authority for written agreement: a) Revised roof plans and elevations at 1:50 scale, including: • The solar panel location shall be reviewed. The solar panels shall be omitted from the east and west elevations and limited to the central valley and the roof of the sunroom only unless otherwise agreed in writing. • Additional details of the existing decorative fish-scale slate coursing. The fish-scale slates shall be retained and reinstated on a like-for-like basis in accordance with the documented original pattern. • Omission of the proposed in-line (integrated) solar panels. A revised specification shall be submitted for conventional PV panels mounted on brackets above the retained slate roof covering. b) Detailed drawings and specifications at 1:10 scale of the proposed rooflight, including materials and colour finishes. The rooflight shall be a conservation-style rooflight. Details and methodologies for repairs to existing lath-and-plaster ceilings and roof rafters shall also be submitted. c) Details shall be submitted demonstrating the impact of the proposed PV installation on the structural and historic fabric of the building. The submission shall include method statements and material specifications, details of any structural interventions required, the location of all associated equipment including pipe runs, hot water tanks and ancillary infrastructure, the location of any solar batteries and associated fire safety measures, details of any alarm or monitoring systems, and information on how services, fixings and other installations will be accommodated while minimising impacts on the historic fabric of the Protected Structure.
