5. The developer shall comply with the following Transportation requirements of the Planning Authority: a. Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised bicycle parking drawings for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. The revised plans, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Planning Authority in advance of the submission shall include proposals for bicycle parking for staff and visitors in compliance with Appendix 5 - Table 1: Bicycle Parking Standards for Various Land Uses of the City Development Plan 2022-2028 and Section 6.0 of the National Cycle Manual, 2023 including the following details: i. The applicant shall provide a quantum of cycle parking in compliance with Table 1 of Appendix 5 of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028. The applicant must provide the number of staff at the gym (inclusive of full time and part time / self-employed staff members) as part of their calculations and provide appropriate short-term spaces (1 per 50 sqm of ground floor area). ii. The applicant shall provide a detailed plan of the bicycle parking area (including the additional bicycle racks in the main car park) with locations of the proposed bicycle stands, type of parking, and distances between stands included. iii. 5% of bicycle parking space shall be provided for larger non-standard cycles. iv. Cycle parking shall be designed and provided in line with the standards set out in Section 6.5.5 of the Cycle Design Manual.
