4. The following requirements of the Council’s Conservation Division shall be complied with; xiii.The structural design for the proposed stairs to the attic, ensuring that the proposed strengthening works would not negatively impact the existing structural elements of the Protected Structure. xiv.A detail drawing of the proposed glazing, demonstrating that the existing sashes can accommodate the proposed glazing. The applicant shall confirm that the proposed slimline double-glazed units would not have visible spacers, plant on glazing bars, mircopillars or fritted glass. The CO recommends that Hodgson’s heritage putty or equal is used if linseed oil putty cannot be accepted for use with slim-profile glazing by the specialist joiner.
