3. Prior to commencement of development the applicant shall submit the following amendments, for the written agreement of the Planning Authority: a)The applicant shall incorporate contemporary hand painted signage on the existing non-original fascia box sign. In line with the recommendations set out in Dublin City Council’s Shopfront Design Guide, the signage lettering shall be limited to the name of the business only. The sentence 'Repair, buy and choose the best for your technology' shall be omitted from the proposal. b)The design, dimensions and articulation of the new shopfront / fascia shall match the shopfront at No. 10A. Marine ply shall be utilised in lieu of plywood. c)The applicant shall provide an alternative RAL colour for the proposed shopfront, ensuring that the colour schemes will be sympathetic to and respect the special architectural character and materials of the Protected Structure.
