3. The Developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Authority: b)Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: a.The existing unauthorised hanging sign to the Grafton Street façade shall be removed. The applicant shall provide photographic proof to show that it has been taken down b.Samples of careful paint removal to investigate the condition of the underlying terracotta to the shopfront to establish if its original character could be revealed prior to agreeing to a full repaint. If the underlying terracotta is in good condition with minimum repairs required, it shall be revealed in its original manner and the proposed painting omitted. c.The final RAL colour for the windows for written agreement of the CO. d.Confirmation that the original window ironmongery shall be retained and repaired. e.Revised drawings to omit the proposed flagpole and flag, and to omit the proposed hanging flag.
