9. The developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Authority: d) Prior to commencement on site, the applicant shall submit the following information for the written approval of the Planning Authority: i. A method statement shall be provided prior to the demolition taking place on site to assess the impact of the demolition on the existing boundary wall. The method statement shall outline the careful dismantling of the existing structure and how the existing boundary wall shall be protected during the demolition. The method statement shall also include photographs of the existing wall, and the methodology for carrying out the repairs and removal of vegetation proposed for the wall. ii. Details of the proposed foundations for the new extension, ensuring that the historic walls of the coach house to the rear of No. 9 Ely Place (Protected Structure) and the boundary walls are not compromised nor undermined by the new dwelling. iii. A detail drawing at 1:10 of the junctions and flashing details at the neighbouring coach house gutter and existing boundary wall shall be provided for agreement with the Conservation Officer prior to the development commencing on site.
