PROTECTED STRUCTURE Royal Dublin Society intends to apply for permission at a site within the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Grounds, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 AK83. Protected Structure: The development will consist of development and amendments to development permitted under Reg. Ref. 3937/23 and will comprise: (i) replacement of the previously permitted but unconstructed two-storey hospitality and services building (“Pocket Building”) (c.10.6m maximum height) approved under Reg. Ref. 3937/23 with an ancillary demountable pavilion structure (c.6.2m maximum height) comprising an internal flexible multi-functional event space, linked to the operation of the Anglesea Stand (Laya Arena) and wider RDS campus; and (ii) all associated external works, servicing infrastructure, site development and ancillary works. A temporary permission for a period of five years is sought for the installation and use of the pavilion, unless a further permission is granted prior to the expiry of that period.
