The development will consist of altering the existing hipped roof to form a full apex roof with a small hip, together with the construction of a rear dormer window and the installation of two roof lights to the front roof slope to provide adequate height and internal space for attic conversion. The works will also include the conversion of the existing ground-floor garage to a playroom, involving the removal of the garage door and its replacement with a new front window, as well as the insertion of windows in the existing and proposed gable to increase natural light to the utility room and attic landing, along with all ancillary site works.
