Permission is sought for development at 14 Mahon Terrace, Rope Walk, Blackrock, Cork, T12E1W4. The development will consist of the existing two-storey end of terrace dwelling, comprising: removal of the existing roof and its replacement to match the existing ridge height; a two-storey flat-roofed extension to the rear finished in architectural rain screen cladding; alterations to existing window and door openings and the provision of new windows and doors; a rooflight to the front roof plane over the stairwell; internal reconfiguration of the dwelling to provide four bedrooms and associated accommodation; an upgrade of the building fabric with mechanical ventilation with heat recovery; a soakaway for the disposal of surface water; and all associated site development, drainage and ancillary works.
