Permission for installation of solar panels on a steel frame structure over an existing telecommunications cabin (covering an area of approximately 42 sq.m., to a height not exceeding 5.0 metres above ground level). Works to include all ancillary development works at ESB Telecoms Ltd Telecommunications Compound at ESB's Kilbarry 110kV Substation, Old Whitechurch Road, Cork. The development is covered by the provisions of the Renewable Energy Directive III (Directive (EU) 2023/2413) and it is important to note that the application may be subject to Section34D of the planning and Development Act, 2000 as amended. When a notice issues in accordance with Section 34D (b), the provisions of article 26A of the Planning Development Regulations 2001 to 2025 shall apply.
