The development will consist of conservation, restoration and alteration works to the existing derelict dwelling house and adjacent outbuilding at Castle Downeen House, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork, P85 R122, Recorded Monument (CO143-067, country house), for use as a private residence. The development comprises the restoration of the main house as a four-bedroom dwelling, the conversion of the adjacent outbuilding to a one-bedroom ancillary accommodation, the reinstatement of missing building elements, installation of new floors, roof and modern services, localised landscaping works, and all associated site development works.
