Peter Casey and Dolores Cahill join Conor McGregor in seeking presidential nominations from Wexford County Council

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor is among the 17 names to have sought a nomination from Wexford County Council (WCC) for the upcoming presidential election on October 24. McGregor (37) reiterated his desire to become President of Ireland in a video recorded outside government buildings last week and WCC has confirmed that he is one of the 17 independent candidates to have contacted its offices.
