Tipperary councillor to sponsor shuttle bus to major fixture on summer show calendar

A local Tipperary councillor has stepped in to ensure that anyone who wants to go to an upcoming local show can, regardless of if they drive or not.
The Dualla Show takes place in Cashel on August 31, with livestock, showjumping, tractor pulling, wrestling, tug of war and free kids entertainment to name just a few, and is a regular fixture on the show season calendar in Tipperary every summer.
This year, independent councillor John O’Heney has been working with the show committee to organise a shuttle bus so that more people than ever can get to the popular show.
Cllr O’Heney said that he was glad to be able to organise, as well as sponsor the shuttle bus that will bring people to and from the show.
"Really happy to have worked closely with members of the Dualla Show Committee, and in particular Ray Hunt, to organise and sponsor a shuttle bus from Cashel to the Dualla Show this year,” the independent councillor said.
The bus will start running from outside Feehan’s Bar on Cashel’s Main Street at 10.30am, and will drop passengers to the show grounds, running hourly between Feehans and the show grounds throughout the day.
"This year's Dualla Show takes place on Sunday, August 31, and is a massive day on the County's social calendar, with something for everyone on the day - Livestock, Tractor Pulling, Showjumping, Food Stalls, Live music and Exhibitors and much more,” Cllr O’Heney said.
“Well done to all the Show Committee for all their hard work in organising the event again this year,” he added.
