Sister of Roz Purcell granted permission to continue Tipperary coffee shop

By Katie O'Donovan, Irish Independent

A coffee shop owned by the sister of model and influencer Roz Purcell has been granted retention permission by Tipperary County Council.

Fetch Foods Ltd, trading as Fetch Coffee, owned by Rachel Purcell and her husband Kevin McKeigue, had applied to Tipperary County Council for permission to retain changes to their outlet on Quay Street, Clonmel.

The plans sought to retain the use of the ground floor for a coffee shop, as well as all ancillary facilities such as the kitchen/prep area, storage and toilets.

Permission was also sought to keep the new first floor storage area, new signage, and all associated site development works.

Retention planning permission is applied for when works have already been carried out without prior planning approval.

The coffee shop initially operated from a repurposed shipping container, before moving into the former bakery building in February of this year.

Tipperary County Council planners granted permission to retain the development, subject to four conditions.

Included among the conditions are that no roller shutters, canopies, or projecting signs can be added to the front of the building without prior planning permission.

Planners also stipulated that no signs be put up on the front of the building without planning permission.

Fetch Coffee first opened in 2021 as a coffee trailer in the vacant yard of their current property in Quay Street.

Rachel Purcell is the older sister of model, influencer and writer Rozanna (Roz) Purcell.

She welcomed her first child Sonny with husband Kevin in 2025.
