Popular Tipperary wedding venue plans to expand accommodation

Accommodation at a well-known Tipperary hotel could soon be expanded, with plans for seven new apartments submitted to the local council.
Jane de Roquancourt has applied to Tipperary County Council to convert disused farm buildings at Kilshane House – a popular wedding venue between Tipperary town and Bansha – into seven new apartments.
As well as the application to build the seven new apartments, Ms de Roquancourt has applied for permission to build a new barn, as well as seeking permission to retain four apartments that have been created on the hotel grounds.
Retention permission is typically sought when work has already been carried out without the necessary planning approval.
Tipperary County Council is expected to make a decision on the planning application by October 19.
