Planning sought for new homes outside major Tipperary town

Plans have been lodged for 20 new homes outside a busy town in Tipperary.
Bernard and Ursula Brennan have applied to Tipperary County Council seeking planning permission to build 20 houses in Ballyclerihan, just outside Clonmel.
The proposal includes eight four-bedroom, 10 three-bedroom and two two-bedroom homes, with 48 parking spaces planned for the site.
Under the plans, four homes will be given to Tipperary County Council to be used for social and affordable housing – two of the two-bedroom homes, and two of the three-bedroom homes.
Tipperary County Council is due to make a decision on the plans by December 16.
