Planning sought for 21 new homes in major Tipperary town

By Katie O'Donovan, Independent.ie

21 new homes could be built in one of Tipperary’s biggest towns under plans lodged with Tipperary County Council.

Deloitte Ireland, the receiver of Hallclon Properties Limited, has applied to the local authority to build 21 houses at Prior Park Grove in Clonmel.

The homes proposed to be built would be two three-bedroom semi-detached houses, 10 three-bedroom terraced units, and nine two-bedroom end of terrace units.

The development would seek to complete the Prior Park Grove development, for which planning permission was approved in 2007.

As part of the planning application, eight of the 21 units would be handed over to Tipperary County Council for use as social and affordable housing.

Tipperary County Council are due to make a decision on the planning application by September 11.
