The Tipperary town Boyle Sports outlet is in the former Carew’s pub on the corner of Main Street and Gas House Lane.

The company are seeking to change the use of an adjoining former commercial unit to a betting shop in order to extend their current outlet, as well as refurbishing the two existing two-bedroom apartments on the first and second floors of the building.

The company are also looking to change the use of the remaining first floor area from commercial to residential, to create two, two-bedroom apartments.

Tipperary County Council are set to make a decision on the application by September 22.
