Urgent bridge works on major Sligo road will result in closures and diversions

Urgent remedial works are to take place at two bridges on the N4, Belladrihid and Ballysadare over the next week.

Sligo County Council has revealed that the N4 northbound between Collooney roundabout and junction S1 will be closed on Thursday, September 4, Monday, September 8, Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10.

The N4 southbound between Collooney roundabout and Junction S1 will be closed on Friday, September 5, Thursday, September 11, Friday, September 12 and Monday, September 15.

The N4 will be closed for a further six nights, Monday to Friday on the week of September 8, and on the night of Monday, September 12.

The closures will be in effect between 7pm and 6am.
