Sligo County Council through the Sligo Regional Design Office have carried out a tender process for the procurement of technical advisors to assist with the progression of the N15 Grange Active Travel Scheme.

Subsequently, Tobin Consulting Engineers have been appointed as Technical advisors to assist in the progression of the scheme with work currently underway.

Under the Sligo County Development Plan 2024-2030, it is proposed that the junction of the N-15 and the L-7204 be realigned, in conjunction with the redevelopment of the adjacent sites. The plan also outlines the requirement for the provision of a footpath along the L-3203 (Grange−Streedagh Road) to serve the zoned lands on the southern side of this road, in conjunction with the development of these lands.

Within the Development Plan it is also proposed to provide a segregated (where feasible) active travel facility and designated crossing points in Grange village.
