Applications have been lodged with Sligo County Council seeking permission for Tesla EV charging hubs in Curry and Drumcliffe by Tesla Motors Ireland Limited.

The application seeks permission for charging hubs at Davis’ Restaurant, Drumcliffe and Yeats County Inn, Curry.

The applications which were lodged with Sligo County Council in the last week seek permission for similar developments in both locations.

The proposed developments will consist of high-power electric vehicle charging points and associated infrastructure consisting of the installation of eight electric vehicle charging bays with eight Tesla illuminated charging units and associated signage.

Permission is also sought for the installation of proposed Tesla supercharger power cabinet equipment; installation of proposed modular substation; erection of associated EV signage and all associated site development works including surfacing, lighting and line marking.

Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, superchargers can add up to 275 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes.
