Movie fans kept away from Mullaghmore set as rumours circulate about Brad Pitt’s appearance

Large crowds have descended on Mullaghmore but it is the beach that has proven to be the main attraction, as opposed to celebrity spotting, as the public is being kept away from the set of a film starring Channing Tatum and Eve Hewson being shot there.

There was excitement in the area earlier today when the two stars arrived by helicopter to film’s base close to Cliffoney beach.

Rumours regarding the presence of lead producer on the film, Bradd Pitt abounded but there was no confirmation regarding his presence in Mullaghmore. He is financing and developing the project through his production company, Plan B Entertainment.

Filming along the Headland Road was reportedly scheduled to commence at 1pm but no public access to the area is permitted.

Road closures on the the Headland Road (L-7101) will remain in place until 2pm on Friday.

It was very much a case of soaking up the sunshine at the popular seaside village and keeping one eye out for a celebrity.
