Water supply disruption for several days planned for Meath town

Residents in Athboy and surrounding areas in Meath are advised to prepare for possible interruptions to their water supply over the coming days.
According to Uisce Éireann, essential maintenance works at a local reservoir may lead to low water pressure and temporary supply disruptions in the area.
The works are scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. on Monday, October 13, until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15.
The national utility is recommending that residents allow 3–4 hours after the estimated restoration time for normal water supply to fully return.
“Make appropriate arrangements and keep an eye here for updates,” Independent Councillor David Gilroy said on social media.
