Vacant Navan shop set to become sandwich bar after council approval

A once-empty retail unit at Navan Town Centre is set to be transformed into a sandwich bar with a sit-down dining area, after getting planning approval from Meath County Council.
DTIL Limited was granted permission for the change of use of a vacant retail unit at Unit 40 in the shopping centre on Kennedy Road.
The ground-floor, single-storey unit, which measures 59.9 square metres, is currently vacant and is accessed from the internal shopping mall.
It also has an existing shopfront and access door onto Kennedy Road along the building’s southern elevation.
The approval allows for the change of use from retail to a sandwich bar with seating, along with the provision of internal mall signage and external signage facing onto Kennedy Road.
The permission includes all associated works necessary to facilitate the new use, bringing the unit back into active operation within the town’s principal retail centre.
