Plans for a 74 residential unit in Ratoath has been submitted to Meath County Council.
Lagan Homes Ratoath Limited is seeking permission for 74 residential units on a 2.22 hectares site at the Commons, Fairygouse Road, Ratoath. The site is located south of the residential development Carraig na Gabhna
The plan includes 66 houses in a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts—specifically 14 two-bed, 46 three-bed, and 6 four-bed homes. These will be designed as a combination of semi-detached and terraced units.
In addition, the proposal features a three-storey standalone building housing 8 simplex/duplex apartments—four one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units—offering a range of housing types to meet diverse needs in the growing Ratoath district.
A new vehicular access point and exit are planned directly onto the Fairyhouse Road (R155), improving connectivity for future residents.
The development also includes extensive associated site works such as the undergrounding of existing overhead ESB lines, the installation of a new ESB substation, public lighting, landscaping, and boundary treatments.
