Proposed plans for 36 new residential units, a retail area, and a creche have been given the green light in Meath.

Manley Developments submitted a planning application to Meath County Council for 22 two-bedroom and 14 three-bedroom duplex units within three-storey blocks, aimed at expanding housing options in Lagavooren, Drogheda, Co. Meath.

In addition to the residential units, the development plans feature a retail area of 142.37 square metres and a creche measuring 671.57 square metres, complete with an external play area of 710 square metres.

Plans also include 40 car parking spaces and 106 bicycle parking spaces, ensuring accessibility for residents and visitors.

Extensive site works are planned, including landscaping, site lighting, play areas, bin stores, signage, boundary treatments, and essential services infrastructure.

Meanwhile, further information and revised plans were submitted to Meath County Council as part of the application.

The development will provide a mix of residential housing, retail amenities, and childcare facilities, contributing to the growing community infrastructure in the area.
