Plans approved for three new homes and refurbishment in Meath town

Permission has been granted for a residential development in a Meath town, comprising the refurbishment and extension of an existing dwelling along with the construction of three new houses.
The approved development on Main Street in Enfield will provide for the refurbishment of an existing two-storey detached dwelling, including partial demolition works and the construction of a two-storey extension.
The application was submitted by Greenshannon Developments Ltd in December 2025, with approval issued on February 12, 2026 by Meath County Council.
The scheme also includes the construction of three detached four-bedroom houses, bringing the total number of homes on the site to four.
Access to the development will be via the existing vehicular entrance off Main Street, while plans also provide for a new pedestrian entrance serving one of the dwellings.
The permission covers all ancillary site and infrastructural works required to facilitate the development, including landscaping, boundary treatments and drainage works.
