Planning green light for new walking track at Meath GAA Club
A Meath GAA Club has secured planning permission from Meath County Council to develop new community facilities at its grounds in Longwood.
The approved plans for Killyon GAA Club include the construction of a walking track around the existing playing pitch, aimed at providing a safe and accessible recreational amenity for club members and the wider community.
As part of the project, six-metre-high light columns will be installed to allow the track to be used throughout the darker evenings, while 1.2-metre-high perimeter fencing will be added for safety and security.
The development also covers all associated site services required for the works.
