New Yellow Boxes installed outside Meath estates to improve traffic

New Yellow Boxes have been painted outside residential estates in South Drogheda, Meath to facilitate traffic.
These installations are now outside Millmount Abbey and Ard Rí, following lobbying by local Fianna Fáil Councillor Stephen McKee.
The road markings aim to improve traffic flow and make it easier for residents and visitors to enter and exit both estates, particularly during peak traffic times.
Cllr McKee said: “I am pleased that following lobbying of Meath County Council on my part, new Yellow Boxes have been painted onto the road outside Millmount Abbey and Ard Rí.
"They will hopefully help in facilitating traffic entering and exiting from both estates, particularly during peak traffic times.”
He also confirmed that pedestrian markings at the crossing outside Rosevale will be re-painted shortly.
“I thank the Council for their help with these important local matters. I will continue to represent the residents of South Drogheda as effectively as I can,” he added.
The installation of the Yellow Boxes is part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety and traffic management in South Drogheda, addressing concerns from local residents and estate visitors.
