New Meath Local Link bus stop a ‘positive addition for the community’

A new Meath Local Link bus stop has been added at Cormeen Sports Complex, enhancing transport links for residents along the Kells–Ardee route.
The new stop is now operational, and Meath Local Link is encouraging residents to make use of the service to help keep rural transport strong and growing.
Richie Sheehy, Manager of TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal said: “We are pleased to add this new bus stop in Cormeen. It’s a great example of how community feedback guides our decisions.”
“We always do our best to accommodate new requests, especially when they help improve connectivity and support rural communities. We hope this addition will have a positive impact on the Cormeen community.”
Fine Gael councillor Sarah Reilly welcomed the news, describing it as a “positive addition for the community”.
“A stop like this makes everyday travel easier for everyone, especially older residents who rely on local services being close and accessible,” she said.
“Improvements like these help people stay connected, active, and supported in rural areas.”
