Meath to host 2025 National Public Participation Network conference

Meath has been chosen to host the 2025 National Public Participation Network (PPN) Conference.
The annual national conference brings together PPN representatives from across Ireland to share experiences, exchange ideas, and discuss the future of community engagement.
This year’s event will be jointly hosted by Meath County Council and Meath PPN, welcoming PPN staff, Secretariat members, and stakeholders from every county.
With more than 21,000 community organisations active nationwide, the conference is said to highlight the vital role PPNs play in supporting Ireland’s community and voluntary sectors.
It will take place on October 16 and 17 at the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim.
“We can't wait to welcome so many incredible community leaders and activists to the beautiful county of Meath for two days of learning, sharing and networking,” Meath County Council said.
“From workshops to excursions, showcases to presentations, it's a fantastic opportunity for all Public Participation Networks to connect, share knowledge, and discuss the future of community engagement and participation.”
They added: “Having so many influential voices in one room is a real honour and a powerful chance to strengthen our collective work.”
