The programme, running from September 19 to October 23, aims to involve residents, businesses, and community groups in sustainable practices, environmental awareness, and eco-friendly initiatives across the county.

The events build on earlier council efforts to promote sustainability in Meath, including the Retrofit Expo held in April at Buvinda House and ongoing Eco Chic and Eco Grow programmes.

Highlights of Climate Action Month 2025 include energy and information clinics, Eco Chic clothes swaps, green business networking events, beach cleans, and a Catherine Fulvio cooking course designed to reduce food waste.

Meanwhile, additional workshops and activities throughout September and October offer practical guidance on sustainable living in Meath.

Gerry Boyle, Director of Services for Climate Action at Meath County Council, said: “We are happy to bring such a packed programme of events to engage and educate the people of Meath on important climate action initiatives.”

"Our commitment to developing a climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable county is a year-round priority.”

Residents and local businesses are encouraged to participate in these sustainability events to play a part in creating a greener, more sustainable Meath.
